I was watching a BBC show called Death In Paradise and noticed something I hadn’t till now.
The police Land Rover goes to the airport and has alloy wheels and an air conditioning unit.
From other episodes with alloy wheels and air con.
to steel wheels, sans air con.
then with alloys
then without

The wheels I might have noticed, but the air conditioning? I would have never noticed.

maybe they have more than one?

On the Defender the air con unit sticks out a couple of inches in front of where the grille is normally placed.

There was always just one Land Rover and one Royal Enfield motorbike with side car.
Though Season 4 was to of moved from Deshaies (season one to three) to another location. So I guess they could have one Landie at the old filming site and a newer Landie at the new filming site. But continuity would dictate same spec and plate.

What is your opinion on Bushmill’s Svend?

Love it. Of the three that are commonly available on the high street here (Bushmills, Jameson and Tullamore Dew) I highly recommend Bushmills. The blended Original is okay and the Black Bush is nicer, the 10 year old malt is great. However I’ve found an Irish whiskey called Teeling and highly recommend it.
So of the ones I’ve tasted (about 12) my top 6 are.
1, Teeling single grain
2, Bushmills 10 year old malt
3, Bushmills Black Bush
4, Jamesons
5, Tullamore Dew
6, Bushmills Original

Sweet, glad you say it’s good stuff. Some research about my family tree led me to the fact that Bushmill’s is made in the same county of Northern Ireland where my dad’s side of the family originally came from. Since I love whiskey I’ll give it a try next time I go to the store.

Great show. Still prefer the original DCI from Johnny English.

Ye’, it’s taken a different look. The first DCI was a little too English old stereotype and a bit OCD, this new one is more relaxed and not as offensive to locals and the French (damned French, Lol).

I liked the xenophobia.

I wouldn’t call it xenophobia, more a laughing at of stereotypes we hold of different countries.

Always good for a laugh.
